Public vs. Private School
Tricay Astwood, Head-boy, Cedarbridge Academy

Private and public schools both have their benefits. Private schools benefit because they offer courses at the GCSE level that is generally looked at higher than the BSC. Also Private Schools tend to be more extensive with their courses for instance many of them have two separate classes for English, English literature, And Language Arts. Public Schools just have one subject combining the two.

On the other hand Public schools can be looked at as being a microcosm of the real world. I think public schools can teach more of how the real word is going to be like. Being street smart and having common sense is something that youth lack when they enter the real world, but public schools teach this on a day to day basis.

I feel both public and private schools have their pro's and con's - it is up to you to decide which one is best for you.
