Diaries in Bermuda
GLOBAL YOUTH COLUMN
By Tricray Astwood.

Malte Brendemuhl (Germany), Cindy Delgado Orozco (Mexico), Marie-Michel Leclerc (Quebec, Canada), Michael Kouklik (Czech Republic), Leonardo Lima (Brazil), Gracia Richata (Indonesia), Maria Luz Baigorri (Argentina), Yego Zemzyulin (Ukraine), Alejandro Reyes (Bolivia), Ana Aylen Foschiatti (Argentina).

The youth pictured have been living in Bermuda for nearly a year now. I personally am preparing to go to Argentina in the summer, however, before I depart I look forward to interviewing our visitors and seeing what they think of Bermuda. Keep posted.

Alejandro Reyes (16 years old) is originally from Bolivia and has been living in Bermuda for the last year as part of the Rotary Exchange program.

He is currently at Berkeley Institute. He finds the Bermuda schools very different from Bermuda, he says they are much smaller here and without as much structure as Bolivia.

He has really enjoyed his experience in Bermuda, his hobby has been the gym. Alejandro says it took him some time to get used to riding bikes.

When asked what is the first thing he is going to do when he gets home he replies “eat a lot of meat”.

His favorite film is Austin Powers.

His advice for the youth of Bermuda is: “Love your life and learn by your mistakes”.
