Tips
on taking care of your clothes
- If you don't feel like ironing, a good alternative is to throw
your wrinkled clothing in the dryer with a damp, clean towel.
The steam will smooth out the wrinkles. Make sure to take
your clothes out right away after they're done, though, because,
if you leave them in the dryer, they'll wrinkle again.
- Blood - use cold water to remove the crusty surface and as much
of the stain as possible. Do NOT use hot water! Then
soak the garment in cool water with a teaspoon of detergent.
- Chewing gum - try freezing the gum! Put the whole garment in
the freezer and use an ice cube to harden the gum. Once
it is hardened you should be able to shatter it and then scrape
it off.
- Penk Ink - ask an adult to to help and blot it off with rubbing
alcohol.
- Red fruits and juice - Stretch the garment out and pour hot
water on the stain.
